DAWSON DENIM

DAWSON DENIM .

This project involved creating a lookbook for Dawson Denim, a brand rooted in British craft, durability and slow, purposeful making. Our aim was to translate their workwear heritage into a contemporary visual story, focusing on texture, authenticity and the quiet character of the garments. The shoot combines natural light, minimal styling and close attention to detail, allowing the denim to feel lived‑in, tactile and honest.

The images highlight the construction, fit and materiality of the pieces, while also capturing the understated confidence of the brand. The final look-book balances documentary‑style realism with a clean, editorial finish, presenting Dawson Denim in a way that feels both true to its roots and relevant to a modern audience.

I worked as part of a small creative team, assisting with photography and contributing to the overall creative direction of the lookbook. My role involved supporting the shoot setup, helping shape the visual tone, and capturing details that reflected Dawson Denim’s craft‑led identity. I worked closely with the lead photographer to ensure the images felt honest, tactile and true to the brand’s heritage, while also bringing a contemporary, editorial feel to the final outcome.
